Lyrics:

I'm walking through green fields in my mind
I can smell the flowers at my feet.
I'm pushing through the cloud and the rain in my mind,
Searching for answers to my questions that I can't find.

Is it too much to ask, for a little time?
Is it too much for you to give?
Is it too much to ask, for a little time,
For you to walk with me, in green fields in my mind?

A veil descends over the land in my mind,
And covers everything in a brilliant white;
And people are laying their weapons aside
As I walk through green fields in my mind.

Is it too much...
Info:

These were some of the first words to a song I wrote when I was 16. I revisted the words a month or two ago and put this tune to them.

It's the first time I've recorded some non-lyric harmonies (in the chorus). I felt a bit daft recording it, but I'm quite pleased with the result.

The clapping at the end is me - 8 times, my hands were a bit sore afterwards. The first time I added clapping to a track (Breaking our Way) I stole it from "We Will Rock You" by Queen. I'm going to see them in October, so I'll give them some claps back then.
